Vaccinations
Required vaccinations are parvo/distemper, Bordetella, and Rabies. If Bordetella needs to be updated it needs to be completed at least 14 days prior to boarding. We require that Bordetella vaccine be updated annually. We strongly recommend the oral or the nasal vaccine over the injection.
Consult your veterinarian. The 14 day waite period also applies to parvo/distemper and canine flu vaccines. We do recommend Lepto vaccines but do not require it at this time.
A word about Canine Flu:
Canine flue can be a serious, Discuss this with your veterinarian if you have questions or concerns. We are not requiring flu VACCINES AT THIS TIME HOWEVER MAY INTHE FUTURE IF OUTBREAKS ACCURE.
A word about Bordetella (Kennel Cough)
Kennel cough is an upper respiratory infection that can cause irritation to the upper respiratory track. Usually not life threatening but may need treatment. Outbreaks of this virus or bacteria can spread easily were dogs are kept together in an close environment.
